Accounts Payable Receivable Specialist

Support Shad Canada’s finance operations in Waterloo with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and detailed reconciliation work. This full-time role offers limited work-from-home flexibility.

As an Accounting Specialist reporting to the Finance Manager, you will manage bookkeeping duties, account analysis, and reconciliations. You will also organize accounting data, communicate with campus teams across Canada, and oversee summer co-op students.

• Reconcile credit card spending through Expense Point and Next Logic
• Record campus team invoices in the general ledger
• Execute payments and manage annual MOU invoice collection
• Liaise with Shad campus finance contacts across Canada
• Update Salesforce and support Finance training modules

• Accounting degree, diploma, designation, or equivalent experience
• Five-plus years of bookkeeping or equivalent accounting work
• Knowledge of accounting fundamentals and data entry
• High accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
• Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel
