Tax Manager | REMOTE +equity

Our client is a fast-growing accounting startup that is looking to bring on a TAX MANAGER in a newly-created role. This individual will own pass-through tax for our growing book of small business clients. You'll review and sign off on S-Corp, partnership, and LLC returns prepared by our offshore team, along with the owners' personal returns, and serve as a trusted advisor to business owners.

This is a newly created, high-impact role with real ownership and a direct line to leadership.

MUST HAVE CPA

• Federal and state tax compliance and review for a portfolio of startup and small business clients
• Primarily S-Corp and partnership returns, with some C-Corp work mixed in
• Review and sign off on returns prepared by junior and offshore staff
• Help build out tax processes, workflows, and best practices as the team scales
• Partner directly with bookkeeping and CFO service teams to deliver a seamless client experience

• 3 to 7 years of tax experience, ideally a mix of public accounting and in-house/private
• Strong S-Corp and partnership compliance background (1120-S, 1065, K-1s)
• Small business experience is a must, that's the bread and butter here / C-Corp = a plus
• Thrives in a fast-moving startup environment and wants a seat at the table

• $125-150K + bonus + 100% medical + EQUITY
