The AVP/VP, Forensic Accountant role at GIC involves leading forensic accounting analyses to assess the credibility of financial reports. You’ll work closely with portfolio managers and analysts to identify potential fraud and earnings manipulation. What You’ll Do- Lead forensic accounting analysis of company reports.
- Assess credibility of accounting allegations.
- Deliver quick assessments and deeper analyses as needed.
- Identify signs of earnings manipulation and potential fraud.
- Highlight discrepancies in reported results.
- Formulate views on investment suitability based on accounting quality.
- Investment qualification like CFA is a plus.
- At least 5 years of forensic accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
- Exceptional research and investigative skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
