Senior Tax Associate

Our client is a public accounting firm. They seek a Senior Tax Associate to join their Hollywood, FL office.

• Support client relationships by assisting with day-to-day communication and delivering responsive tax advisory services
• Assist with tax planning strategies for S corporations, high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, partnerships, and pass-through entities
• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns, including individual, fiduciary, partnership, corporate, and gift tax filings
• Research technical tax matters and prepare memoranda related to multi-state taxation, entity structuring, compensation models, and planning strategies
• Monitor tax law updates and industry developments to support accurate client guidance
• Mentor junior team members and review work papers and tax deliverables for accuracy and completeness
• Coordinate with senior professionals to manage engagement workflows, deadlines, and client deliverables
• Manage multiple engagements while maintaining organization, attention to detail, and high-quality client service

• 3+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting required
• Strong technical knowledge and experience preparing and reviewing individual, partnership, S corporation, trust, gift tax, and investment partnership returns
• Experience with multi-entity and multi-state taxation issues
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience performing, documenting, and summarizing tax research conclusions
• Active CPA license, EA certification, or progress toward certification preferred
