Do you have accounting experience? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring a Remote Senior Accountant position.
Details for Remote Senior Accountant position:$32 / Hour Monday-Friday | 8am-5pm; flexible hours as needed Remote Position! Full-Time | Temporary Zero Fees - you’ll never be charged for any screening service Fast Start Date Weekly Pay Occasional Travel
Job Duties for Remote Senior Accountant:- Manage inventory accounting, costing, and internal controls across manufacturing operations
- Complete month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and inventory roll forwards
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, consolidated statements, and disclosures in compliance with US GAAP and SEC requirements
- Reconcile inventory valuations and cost ledgers, eliminate intercompany inventory profit, and analyze excess inventory
- Support physical inventory counts and internal and external SOX audits
- Analyze cost variances, identify trends, and recommend operational and system improvements
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, and other teams to improve processes and resolve accounting issues
- Maintain financial controls, safeguard confidential information, and support management-assigned projects
- Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
- 7+ years of accounting experience, including 4+ years in cost and inventory accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required, with a master’s degree and CPA or CPA candidacy preferred
- Demonstrated ability to research, document, and present the financial impact of cost and inventory transactions
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, and SEC reporting requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, accounting software, and databases, with Oracle EBS experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Pharmaceutical industry experience or knowledge preferred
- Ability to sit for duration of shift
