Sr. Accountant; Part-time and Remote

Location: Remote;
New Jersey residents preferred for occasional meetup
Schedule: 20-25 hours/week initially; potential for more hours in Q1 2027

A growing, multi-entity transportation and logistics organization is seeking a hands‑on accountant to improve financial reporting, accounting processes, and internal controls.

• Support accounting and reporting across multiple business divisions
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules
• Improve month‑end close, reporting accuracy, and internal controls
• Streamline manual accounting processes and data transfers

• Quick Books Enterprise strongly preferred
• Background in logistics, transportation, or distribution preferred
• Multi‑entity accounting experience
• Strong Excel, reporting, and process‑improvement skills
• Self‑directed and comfortable working independently
