Remote Auditor; Internal Focus

Our client, a dynamic and expanding multinational corporation, is actively seeking an experienced Remote Auditor to bolster their internal audit function. You will be responsible for assessing the effectiveness of internal controls, identifying potential risks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations across various business units.

• Plan and execute internal audit engagements in accordance with professional standards.
• Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting, operations, and compliance.

• Develop practical recommendations to address identified issues and enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare clear and concise audit reports for management and relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct follow-up procedures to ensure that management action plans are implemented effectively.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging risks, and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with external auditors as needed to ensure seamless audit processes.
• Utilize data analytics tools to perform risk assessments and audit testing.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the internal audit methodology and framework.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CA(SA), ACCA, or CISA is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal or external auditing.
• Solid understanding of auditing principles, internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO), and risk management.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., IDEA, ACL) and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with various ERP systems is beneficial.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
