Registration Specialist; Fully Remote

• This is a 12-month seasonal contract supporting Collective members with payroll tax registrations.
• You'll register new employers with state agencies and ensure payroll software setups are correct.
• You'll keep members informed at every step while resolving state notices.

What you'll do:

• Register businesses with state and local tax agencies, including withholding and SUI/SUTA accounts.
• Review and resolve payroll tax notices, partnering with internal teams and state agencies on complex issues.
• Manage payroll platform ownership and compliance requests during onboarding, offboarding, and relocations.

What you'll bring:

• Experience with multi-state payroll tax registrations and knowledge of state registration requirements.
• Familiarity with payroll platforms like Gusto and ADP, plus ticketing tools like JIRA and Zen Desk.
• Comfort using AI tools, with strong communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
