Sr Internal Auditor, Part-Time

At CONMED, Internal Audit promotes the effective and efficient use of company resources through strong compliance controls, value-added projects, and identification of cost savings and risk mitigation opportunities.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join the Internal Audit team in a part-time, hourly capacity.

As a Remote, Part-Time Senior Internal Auditor, you will leverage your audit experience to support financial, operational, IT, compliance, and select third-party audit activities.

Responsibilities Include:

Performing audit test procedures of key controls as related to SOXProvide SOX status reports

Obtaining and testing of sufficient evidential matter

Conduct internal financial and/or system audits and risk assessments

Test and document financial and computer system records for information system integrity and transaction accuracy

Report discrepancies

Prepares audit plans and understand the specific issues to be evaluated

Execute internal audits within established business process controls

Develop formal written reports to communicate audit results to management and make recommendations as appropriate

May facilitate work of external auditors

Participate in various projects to improve or develop efficient and effective department processes

Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in public accounting, audit, internal audit, or a related field.
