Corporate Accountant Accounts Receivable Collections

Matalco seeks an experienced Corporate Accountant for a 12-month contract supporting its Corporate Support team. You will manage recurring accounting activities across Accounts Receivable, collections, Accounts Payable, and month-end support. The position suits professionals who work independently, move across Finance functions, and contribute quickly with limited supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor receivables and follow up on overdue customer balances
Resolve billing, payment, and customer account discrepancies
Support cash application and customer reconciliations
Maintain collection notes and follow-up actions
Escalate significant issues appropriately
Requirements:
College diploma or post-secondary accounting, finance, or related education
At least five years of hands-on accounting experience
Practical Accounts Receivable and collections experience
Strong Excel and ERP skills
Accuracy, communication, follow-up, and problem-solving abilities
