This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious tax professional looking to take ownership of a broad range of corporate tax responsibilities within a growing and dynamic business.

Working closely with the Group Head of Tax and senior leadership team, you will have significant exposure to the Group's corporate tax affairs, helping to ensure compliance with statutory obligations while driving improvements in tax processes, reporting and controls.

The role offers a balance of hands‑on technical work, stakeholder engagement and the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of the Group's tax function.

  • Coordinate and support the Group's corporate tax compliance cycle, working closely with internal finance and accounting teams.
  • Support tax reporting and provisioning processes, including current and deferred tax calculations, tax accounting and effective tax rate analysis.
  • Review and monitor tax positions, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of robust tax processes, procedures and internal controls.
  • Support the management of HMRC enquiries, information requests and compliance matters.
Technical Tax & Advisory
  • Monitor developments in UK tax legislation, HMRC guidance and emerging tax issues, assessing their potential impact on the Group.
  • Provide technical tax support and advice to internal stakeholders on a range of corporate tax matters.
  • Assist the Group Head of Tax with ad hoc tax advisory projects and wider strategic initiatives.
  • Support the assessment of tax implications arising from business growth, structural changes and new commercial activities.
  • Contribute to the identification and management of corporate tax risks across the Group.
Process Improvement & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of corporate tax compliance and reporting processes.
  • Build effective working relationships with finance teams and other internal stakeholders across the Group.
  • Support the continued development and maturity of the Group's tax function as the business grows.
  • Provide guidance and technical support to colleagues on relevant corporate tax matters.
About You

We are looking for a technically strong and commercially aware corporate tax professional who is comfortable taking ownership, working independently and operating in a growing business environment.

You will ideally have:

  • ACA, ACCA and/or CTA qualified.
  • Trained within a reputable accountancy practice, ideally within a corporate tax team.
  • Strong experience in UK corporate tax compliance and reporting.
  • Good knowledge of corporate tax accounting, including tax provisioning and current and deferred tax calculations.
  • Experience working with complex group structures and businesses with multiple entities.
  • The ability to interpret tax legislation and apply technical knowledge to practical business situations.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders.
  • A proactive, self-driven approach, with the ability to work autonomously and take ownership of deliverables.
