Investment Accountant

Compensation: $100,000-$125,000 + 15-20% Bonus

• Competitive base salary of $100K-$125K plus 15-20% bonus
• Hybrid schedule with flexibility (3 days in office: Tuesday-Thursday)

• Manage month-end investment accounting activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Prepare investment reporting under STAT, GAAP, IFRS, and other regulatory frameworks
• Perform daily cash, trade, income, and portfolio reconciliations
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies with clients, custodians, and internal stakeholders
• Maintain portfolio performance reporting and monitor PIK activity
• Respond to inquiries from clients, auditors, portfolio managers, and leadership
• Support process improvement initiatives and operational enhancements
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure reporting deadlines are consistently met
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal business partners
• Leverage analytical and AI-enabled tools to improve accuracy and efficiency

• Hands-on investment accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of monthly investment reporting, including STAT, GAAP, and IFRS
• Experience preparing quarterly and annual Schedule D reporting
• Background supporting fixed income, equities, mutual funds, insurance investments, or similar asset classes
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to quickly contribute with minimal training and supervision
• SQL experience is a plus but not required
