Client Accountant; CPA-PH Qualified

We're looking for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 2-3 years of accounting experience to join our growing accounting team.

You’ll manage the day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of clients, ensuring their financial records are accurate, up to date, and compliant. Working closely with our senior accountants and advisors, you’ll also have the opportunity to expand your experience in financial reporting and audit support.

This is a full-time remote position working Netherlands business hours (4:00 pm – 12:00 am Philippine time).

• Manage the day-to-day accounting for multiple client accounts.

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Perform bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Prepare journals and maintain accurate general ledger records.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Prepare and submit VAT returns.

• Maintain organised financial records and supporting documentation.

• Assist with financial reporting and management reports.

• Support audit preparation and compliance activities.

• Work with cloud accounting platforms including Xero, Dext, Hubdoc and Spotlight Reporting.

• Communicate professionally with clients and internal team members.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.

• Manage multiple clients while maintaining exceptional accuracy and meeting deadlines.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.

• Cum laude graduate (or equivalent high academic achievement) strongly preferred.

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in accounting.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles.

• Experience using Xero or similar cloud accounting software.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.

• Excellent written and spoken English.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team.

• Willingness to work 4:00 pm – 12:00 am Philippine time (Netherlands business hours).

• Experience preparing VAT returns.

• Exposure to financial reporting.

• Audit experience.

• Experience with Dext, Hubdoc and Spotlight Reporting.

• Experience working with international clients.
