Robertson & Associates, CPAs, a full-service public accounting firm with offices in Lakeport, CA and Ukiah, CA, provides tax, accounting, audit, and business advisory services to small to mid-size closely held businesses and individuals. We are currently seeking a dedicated team player with 8+ years of recent public accounting tax experience to oversee the tax department, lead complex tax engagements, mentor staff and provide strategic tax planning to our diverse clientele.

• Tax Services – Prepare and review complex tax engagements for individuals, businesses, partnerships, and trusts & estates
• Accounting Services - Lead engagements throughout all phases of tax and accounting including high level tax research, sophisticated tax planning and resolving complex tax and accounting issues
• Staff Supervision – Oversee, train and mentor tax managers and staff accountants
• Client Relationships – Consult with the firm’s premier clients and build client relationships

• 8+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience with 2+ years in a supervisory role
• CPA license or EA designation required
• Proven track record of successfully managing and training accounting personnel
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical and PC skills including Microsoft Office and tax software proficiency (Ultra Tax software proficiency is a plus)
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively with clients and all levels of staff and develop strong client relationships

• Competitive compensation of $125,000-$150,000/year, commensurate with experience
• Hourly equivalent compensation, meaning all busy season overtime is paid at 1.5x base rate
