PositionSummary
The Garnishment Associate is designed to support the client-facing garnishment team. This is an entry-level position in a fast-growing organization with unlimited opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assist with department inbox (general inquiries).
- Assist with high-volume administrative tasks.
- Sort/scan department mail.
- Coordinate outbound department mailings.
- Introduction to basic garnishment knowledge (order types, forms, common vocabulary).
- Communicate with internal departments and external clients/employees.
- Assist with various clerical tasks as requested.
- Attend webinars, seminars, and other trainings.
- Other ad hoc or projects as assigned.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to meet daily and weekly department deadlines.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Self-starter able to make sound business judgment in carrying out assigned tasks.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Office experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Frequently required to sit; occasionally required to stand and walk.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75-100% of the time and occasionally move about the building to access copiers, filing cabinets, or grab mail from front desk.

- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity equipment such as a keyboard, mouse, printer, scanners, faxes, and copiers.

- May occasionally move objects up to 20 lbs. throughout the office.
Indoor, office environment. May occasionally have moderate noise level from copiers, printers, or co-workers.
