Position

Summary

The Garnishment Associate is designed to support the client-facing garnishment team. This is an entry-level position in a fast-growing organization with unlimited opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with department inbox (general inquiries).
  • Assist with high-volume administrative tasks.
  • Sort/scan department mail.
  • Coordinate outbound department mailings.
  • Introduction to basic garnishment knowledge (order types, forms, common vocabulary).
  • Communicate with internal departments and external clients/employees.
  • Assist with various clerical tasks as requested.
  • Attend webinars, seminars, and other trainings.
  • Other ad hoc or projects as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet daily and weekly department deadlines.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Self-starter able to make sound business judgment in carrying out assigned tasks.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Strong organizational skills.
Education & Experience
  • Office experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • May occasionally move objects up to 20 lbs. throughout the office.
Environmental Conditions

Indoor, office environment. May occasionally have moderate noise level from copiers, printers, or co-workers.
