Database & Operations Specialist

We’re looking for a Data Operations Specialist to join our team supporting a U.S.

-based client. The ideal candidate has strong technical and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience working with large datasets, CRM systems, and data quality processes.

• Clean, validate, and standardize large datasets (names, addresses, emails, phone numbers)
• Manage and update CRM records (Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT or similar)
• Perform data imports/exports and ensure data integrity across multiple systems
• Conduct data verification, deduplication, and record enhancement using online research
• Prepare and execute queries, reports, and exports for donor/member databases
• Document processes, maintain audit trails, and report data quality metrics

• Advanced Excel/spreadsheet proficiency (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Validation)
• Familiarity with CRM or database systems (Raiser’s Edge NXT preferred)
• Strong understanding of data structures, normalization, and field mapping
• Experience in data cleansing, reconciliation, and quality control
• Excellent written communication and documentation skills
• Prior experience with nonprofit or donor databases is a plus
