Permit Coordinator - Remote
Job DescriptionThe position is responsible for data entry of driver trip records and processing of suspended trips in the trip record imaging system. This role backs up the permit desk several times a week and handles the suspended process for GPS trips. The position works directly with state agencies, the SSC, various field positions, and other department employees.
Essential Functions- Keying of paper documents and imaged trips; proficiency in data entry.
- Maintain communication with partners in India (WNS) via email and conference calls to provide feedback on the data entry process performed in India.
- Run and work specific reports related to duplicate trips and duplicate fuel.
- Collaborate with team members to meet monthly department goals.
- Assist the daily permit functions and learn the role to serve as backup, communicating with field and state agencies.
- Responsible for the daily and yearly bulk fuel process.
- Work with the permit renewal process.
H.S. diploma/GED with Basic Financial Accounting course or equivalent.
ExperienceOne (1) year or more experience with proficient data entry and intermediate Excel skills.

- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.

- Detail-oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
Intermediate skills in Excel, Access, and Word.
CompensationHourly:
Minimum $20.00 – Maximum $21.00. The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, commission, and/or long‑term incentive plan based on level and type.
