Job Summary
In this role, the office assistant will work with UM?s top fundraising professionals, gaining high-level experience and building their resume. The D-SIP Office Assistant will complete administrative tasks to support the twelve-week internship program, prepare and attend weekly scheduled D-SIP classes (in person and/or virtual), organize and track D-SIP assignment submissions, utilize D-SIP class resources and tools, and mentor incoming D-SIP cohort.

Additional duties may include formatting and sending weekly emails, contacting interns for late/missing assignments, creating documents, and providing support to the program director as needed.

Educational Value/Leadership Development
The office assistant will gain customer service, leadership, and management skills by assisting the program director through workshops, retreats, and hands-on consulting projects with area non-profits. This admin role will also build a professional community and network.

Required Qualifications *

University of Michigan undergraduate (recently graduated senior)

Desired Qualifications*

Current undergraduates (including graduating seniors) who express interest in the development field, non-profit organization, or philanthropic efforts.
