As a Benefits Associate II, you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing employee satisfaction and well-being. In this position, you will manage leave of absence requests, accommodations, and various benefits administrative functions. This role will collaborate with various HR teams, divisional benefits assistants and vendor partners. You can take part in ensuring that our employees receive the support they need to thrive both personally and professionally.

Position Type: Full-Time
Starting Wage: $32.75 per hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 - $34.50 | Year 3 - $36.00 | Year 4 - $37.50
Work Location: Aurora, IL
This role is eligible to participate in ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week).
- Process leaves of absence including short‑term and long‑term disability claims, administer FMLA and paid leave programs and maintain benefit documents.
- Act as a department resource for divisional benefits contacts as well as National Services staff and management when questions arise.
- Perform general office support and administrative assistance as required.
- Recommend process improvements for area of responsibility.
- Interact with various parties and vendors involved in the administration of ALDI’s benefits programs.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to direct leader.
- Comply with ALDI privacy and security requirements and policies if job responsibilities include possible access to confidential and/or sensitive information.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field required.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
- Work may be performed in an office, remote office, or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
- Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
- Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
- Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
- Minimal travel required as needed for job related duties such as training, project work and administrative tasks.
