What Your Job Will Be LikeAre you passionate about leveraging cutting‑edge facilities and collaborating with experts to develop innovative national security solutions? The Advanced Concepts & Solutions Group (5930) focuses on advanced technologies and engineering concepts, designing and evaluating operational systems for the U.S. Government's Strategic Partnership and Strategic Intelligence Partnership Programs.
We seek a skilled and adaptable General Business Management Administrative Support professional to facilitate program coordination, implement targeted training, and assist with project scheduling. This role involves direct engagement with projects in Center 5900, where departments collaborate closely with other Sandia organizations to advance a variety of national security initiatives. In this position, you will interact with staff and management at various levels.
You will also collaborate with team members to enhance processes and creatively solve problems.
On any given day, you may be called upon to:
- Coordinate project‑related onboarding programs.
- Support communication initiatives by assisting with newsletter development and distribution, manage entity account communications and metagroups, etc.
- Plan and coordinate project‑related meetings and events, ensuring alignment with programmatic goals.
- Provide administrative support on behalf of multiple projects in conjunction with the business team.
- Help organize program‑specific training sessions and workshops, including scheduling and logistics.
- Use common office software and proprietary software to compile and generate reports, timelines, tables, and graphs; to review status of projects and budgets; and to create and maintain project/team presentations.
- Independently, or with guidance, manage multiple priorities and projects, and produce quality results that meet tight deadlines.
- Collaborate/coordinate with other administrative and technical staff from internal and external organizations on various tasks.
- Design processes to enhance workflow.

Salary Range$47,400 – $87,200
* Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential.
Qualifications We Require- High school diploma plus three (3) years of directly related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Work and thrive in a team environment and interact with all levels of internal and external personnel.
- Excellent attention to detail and an ability to work at a very focused and tactical level as well as a broader, more strategic level.
- Ability to work independently, or with some guidance, organize, prioritize and follow through to completion on multiple tasks, often under strict deadlines, frequent interruptions, and competing priorities.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office Products.
