Overview
The Receptionist is responsible for ensuring each employee, customer and visitor has a positive experience when calling or visiting the home office. The goal should always be to provide “You First” customer service.

- Answer and transfer incoming phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Greet visitors and direct them to the correct employee.
- Distribute key fobs to visitors and maintain list of dates received and returned.
- Keep the reception area and conference rooms organized.
- Answer questions about new restaurant openings and general inquiries (phone numbers and addresses).
- Manage and update phone lists in Smartsheets.
- Maintain knowledge of the organizational structure, home office employee names and titles.
- Assemble new hire office supplies and welcome gifts.
- Order new hire signage (office door or name plate) and business cards depending on position.
- Sort and distribute incoming USPS mail, UPS, Fed Ex, and Amazon packages.
- Prepare outgoing Fed Ex packages as needed for senior leadership team.
- Maintain home office accounts for Fed Ex, Staples, and Amazon.
- Work with facilities specialist when service orders need placed for office repairs.
- Maintain copiers and mail machine, including supplies and submitting service orders as needed.
- Order office supplies through Staples or Amazon.
- Order snacks from Costco and BJs for breakroom.
- Place fresh fruit delivered each Monday morning in the break room.
- Order lunch and send invites to home office employees for Friday luncheons.
- Put clean dishes away and keep the break room stocked with supplies, fresh fruit, and snacks.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Demonstrate a spirit of hospitality and maintain a positive presence.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Listen actively and respond with empathy.
- Organizational and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and Microsoft Outlook.
