Founder, Executive Director at Insights Counseling

Insights Counseling Group, founded in 2004, is dedicated to promoting healing, growth, and congruity through psychotherapy, education, and creative strategies. Serving individuals, families, couples, teens, and children, we focus on helping clients integrate past experiences with present circumstances to align with their core values. Based in Placer County, we also train students and interns to become compassionate and effective mental health advocates.

Our team of therapists brings diverse experiences and specialties to provide customized treatment plans designed to meet each client’s unique needs.

Role Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to join Insights Counseling Group in a part‑time, on‑site role in Auburn, CA. The Office Manager will handle day‑to‑day administrative duties, including managing office operations, assisting with office equipment, maintaining schedules, interoffice reception to clients, and providing support to clinicians. This role includes both on‑site and some remote work capabilities, allowing flexibility while supporting the office’s daily functions and ensuring smooth operations.

Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, staff, and partners
  • Proficiency in administrative assistance and office management tasks, including scheduling and organizing
  • Experience with office equipment and technology management
  • Strong customer service skills to address client needs and resolve inquiries
  • Ability to independently manage office administration and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and familiarity with relevant software tools is a plus
  • Prior experience in a counseling or healthcare setting is advantageous
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
