AGL is looking for a Travel Clerk III to join our team of outstanding professionals. The Travel Clerk III will be a remote position in support of the Equipment Redistribution & Divestiture (ERDS) contract at three Army Continuous Transformation (CT) focused locations:
Fort Bragg, Fort Hood, and Fort Carson, as well as 11 CONUS and OCONUS locations during Mobile ERDS Team (MET) missions. The travel clerk will arrange and plan for different modes of travel and secure lodging reservations to meet the travel needs of ERDS personnel.
- Assist the Procurement Analyst and Procurement Specialist on the ERDS contract, performing all aspects of the travel clerk role.
- Review and analyze procurement requirements for internal and external activities across the CT and MET sites.
- Communicate effectively with all ERDS sites and activities to correctly define purchasing requirements and identify approved or new procurement sources.
- Assist with compliant procurement, leasing, and rental of vehicles and equipment that conforms to FAR and other regulations.
- Provide support for purchase requisitions for Outgoing Funding Documents (OFDs), incremental funding, and contracts.
- Process invoices for accuracy, assist with billing, general accounting support, and handle other office duties and special projects as assigned.
- Review and understand the basic contract documents and apply FAR principles, Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), and allowable cost guidance.
- Assist in preparing and organizing materials for meetings, presentations, training sessions; draft correspondence and prepare reports as assigned.
- Minimum of two years of work experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Email).
- Ability to interact effectively with others and work independently.
- Ability to assess, interpret, and apply government standards, specifications, and handbooks.
- Must pass Pre‑Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or a GED.
