Overview
As an award-winning college, we are recruiting an administrator to be based within the English department. You will be the first point of contact for the department, handling enquiries face to face, by phone or electronically; using MS Office programs and the college's data information systems to set up student timetables and registers, book rooms for the team, create and update tracking and monitoring documents, maintain accurate records and files, take minutes in team meetings, claim for qualifications, raise purchase orders and process invoices.
Responsibilities- Deal with all enquiries to the department (face to face, by phone or electronic).
- Use MS Office and the college data information systems to manage timetables, registers, room bookings, and tracking documents.
- Maintain accurate records and files.
- Take minutes in team meetings.
- Raise purchase orders and process invoices.
- Excellent organisational skills and confidence in using IT systems.
- Relevant and recent administration experience.
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade 9-1/A*
- C) or equivalent.
