The RoleWe’re looking for an ambitious and energetic Executive Assistant who’s excited by the idea of working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup. This is a great opportunity for someone with PA or EA experience who’s ready to step into a role with more responsibility, supporting a founder operating at full speed.
You’ll be the go-to person for our Founder, Sam, keeping things organised, running smoothly, and moving forward. One day you might be wrangling calendars and emails, the next coordinating team events or jumping on a special project - no two days will look the same.
We need someone who loves the variety that comes with startup life, can stay calm under pressure, and gets things done.
Key Responsibilities- Own and expertly manage the founder’s calendar, ensuring meetings, calls, and appointments run smoothly and efficiently.
- Manage inbox correspondence, drafting responses, prioritising requests, and ensuring nothing important is missed.
- Support core business operations including payroll, invoices, and expenses, with a strong focus on accuracy and deadlines.
- Plan and deliver team events, all‑hands meetings, and team‑building activities that bring people together and keep energy high.
- Keep the office running seamlessly, from managing supplies and mail to handling last‑minute and ad hoc requests.
- Take the lead on creating a fun, engaging, and collaborative workplace culture that people genuinely enjoy being part of.
- Jump into ad hoc tasks and special projects, adapting quickly to the evolving needs of a fast‑paced startup.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in the fast‑paced, all‑hands‑on‑deck energy of a startup and has the following standout qualities:
- Several years’ experience in a PA or EA role, ideally supporting busy teams or senior leaders.
- Highly organised, able to juggle multiple priorities effortlessly while keeping every detail in check – from financial accuracy to diary management, nothing slips through the cracks.
- Trusted with confidentiality, handling sensitive documents, payroll, and financial transactions with absolute discretion.
- A proactive problem‑solver who sees challenges as opportunities and thinks two steps ahead, finding smarter ways to get things done.
- A clear communicator who keeps things simple, direct, and effective.
- Adaptable and flexible, thriving when priorities shift and ready to roll up your sleeves to jump in wherever needed.
- A collaborative team player who brings a positive attitude, builds a sense of community, and helps create an inspiring workplace.
