Administration Officer / Safeguarding Admin OfficerThe closing date is 10 March 2026
To provide efficient and effective confidential administrative support to the 0-19 Growing Healthy Team / Safeguarding Team. Working in conjunction with colleagues, service users and internal and external stakeholders. The post holder will work under indirect supervision and will directly contribute to the efficient running of the service. This post is based within the Westmorland 0-19 Service. Once fully competent in role there would also be opportunity for some agile working from home.
This post is for 22.5 hours per week
Main duties of the jobProvide administrative support to the 0-19 Growing Healthy Teams / Safeguarding Team.
Typing of reports, letters and emails as required.
Photocopying, Scanning and filing letters and documents as required. Accessing health records (Summary Care & Systm One) to compile demographic information to support the team.
Ensuring information that comes into the 0-19 Safeguarding Team is scanned/ recorded on clinical records and significant events.
To manage the complex filing systems required for the safe handling of child protection information.
Making appointments and updating electronic diaries and ledgers when required.
To exercise Initiative based on knowledge and experience when dealing with enquiries.
Responsible for inputting sensitive information and retrieving data on Trust IT systems in accordance with Trust policy.

Person Specification- NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or relevant experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Good standard of education, including English
- Experience of dealing with the Public/Customer service experience
