We are looking for organised, detail-driven, and customer-focused individuals to join Cadent as a Scheduling Support Administrator within the Scheduling & Dispatch team.

As a Scheduling Support Administrator, you will act as a key liaison between surveyors, customers, and operational teams-coordinating work schedules, arranging start dates, and ensuring all activity is planned efficiently and delivered in line with customer expectations.

This is a highly administrative, fast-paced role where communication, organisation, and attention to detail are critical to success.

How You'll Make an Impact

In this role, you will support the effective planning and coordination of work across the network. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a liaison between surveyors, customers, and internal teams to coordinate work schedules
  • Arranging start dates and ensuring all required information is in place prior to delivery
  • Creating and managing work orders and associated administrative tasks using SAP and other systems
  • Managing and updating reports, ensuring data is accurate and maintained to a high standard
  • Supporting traffic management coordination and ensuring compliance with requirements
  • Assisting in the administration of scheduling activities in line with processes, procedures, and targets
  • Prioritising and coordinating workloads to ensure work is delivered 'right first time'
  • Communicating effectively with customers to provide updates and manage expectations
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting performance tracking and continuous improvement activities

How We'll Know You're the Right Fit

We're looking for someone who thrives in a structured yet fast-moving environment, with strong administrative and communication skills. You'll ideally demonstrate:

  • Proven administrative experience in a busy, process-driven environment
  • Strong customer communication skills, with the ability to manage expectations effectively
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask
  • High attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and quality
  • Experience using SAP or similar systems (or willingness to learn quickly)
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • A proactive, adaptable approach with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work to procedures, SLAs, and compliance standards

Desirable:

  • Experience with in utilities, scheduling, or coordination roles
  • Knowledge of street works processes or traffic management

How It All Comes Together

  • Pay rate: £13.53 per hour PAYE, paid weekly one week in arrears
  • Assignment duration: 6-month temporary role via Reed
  • Location: Cadent, Aylestone Road, Robinson House, Leicester, LE2 7LZ
  • Contracted hours: 37 hours per week

How Your Shifts Will Look

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00am - 4:00pm

Training & Working Pattern

  • Initial 6 weeks training onsite
  • Thereafter, hybrid working:
  • 2 days onsite (Monday and Tuesday)
  • Remaining days working from home
