Fraud Administrator

Crewe | £28,584 - £29,784 per annum | 9am - 5pm | Monday to Friday | Permanent | Work from home Fridays

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of a fast‑growing technology business based in Crewe. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative company that is experiencing continued growth and success. The role offers a varied workload combining reporting, data analysis, fraud monitoring, administration, and client support.

Key Duties
  • Produce accurate and insightful Excel reports, both regular and ad‑hoc.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, anomalies, and potentially fraudulent activity.
  • Investigate and escalated suspicious patterns in line with company procedures.
  • Act as the first point of contact for clients via telephone and email, providing updates and responding to queries in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases.
  • Provide administrative support across the team.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet deadlines and deliver excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, formulas, and VLOOKUPs.
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A curious and detail‑focused approach to work.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • A professional and friendly telephone manner.
  • Strong written English skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
