We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Business Support Officer to join the dynamic Children and Families team. In this role, you will deliver high‑quality, customer‑focused business support, ensuring services run smoothly and efficiently across a range of teams.
What You will Be Doing- Providing professional, timely, and flexible business support across service areas.
- Managing and responding to queries from internal and external stakeholders with tact and professionalism.
- Maintaining a good understanding of financial management.
- Producing, analysing, and maintaining accurate data and records.
- Supporting meetings – taking minutes and coordinating.
- Updating and managing information systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Identifying and resolving issues independently or escalating where appropriate.
- Collaborating with colleagues and providing flexible cover across teams.
Business Support is a centralised service with teams based at Etrop Court, Wythenshawe and Leaving Care, Crumpsall. This is an office‑based role; after successful completion of probation, there may be an opportunity to work from home one day per week.

- Uses initiative to resolve issues and knows when to escalation.

- Comfortable using multiple systems, databases, and Microsoft Office tools.

- Works collaboratively and supports colleagues across services.
