This pivotal role provides high‑quality support to Executive Directors and senior leaders across the Operations & Growth Directorate, enabling effective day‑to‑day running and ensuring leaders can focus on delivering strategic priorities. Working at the heart of the organisation, you will act as a trusted coordination point, managing competing priorities, facilitating communication and ensuring meetings, actions and key work are delivered efficiently and on time.
Mainduties of the job
- Providing high‑quality executive and business support to senior leaders.
- Managing complex diaries, coordinating meetings and ensuring effective communication.
- Tracking action items, monitoring commitments and ensuring they progress.
- Supporting governance and business processes, including oversight of policies, audit actions and organisational priorities.
- Co‑ordinating service activity with the Executive Directors and senior leadership teams to contribute to the smooth operation of the organisation.
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys bringing structure and clarity to diverse workloads.
Hours of Work37.5 hours per week, based at a hybrid working arrangement combining remote work with weekly attendance at a service base in Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire, Worcestershire or Mid Essex.
Salary£31,596 per annum, progressing to £34,922 with annual review.
Qualifications and Experience- Experience providing high‑level business, executive or administrative support to senior leaders.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience coordinating meetings, tracking actions and maintaining governance processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high‑quality documentation.
- A proactive approach, confident working independently and anticipating the needs of senior leaders.
- The ability to work collaboratively with other Executive Business Partners, services and central teams.
- Integrity, professionalism and the handling of sensitive and confidential information.
