Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia is currently searching for a Registration Coordinator, Experience Assessment to join our team in Burnaby on a contract until the end of June 2027.
The Registration Coordinator, Experience Assessment supports the administration of experience-related evaluation programs, advises applicants and stakeholders on policies and procedures, provides staff services to volunteer committees, and processes applications through the registration process for engineering and geoscience applicants.
What You Will Be Doing- Manage the application dashboard to identify validated competency reports, conduct preliminary reviews and provide feedback to applicants.
- Coordinate assignment of qualified volunteer assessors for competency assessments and engage with volunteers to support their work.
- Enter recommendations from completed assessments into relevant committees or panels with supporting documentation.
- Communicate outcomes to applicants and guide next steps.
- Support the Registration Interview Program (scheduling interviews, chairing, providing guidance, entering case entries).
- Participate in department team functions: respond to emails and calls, scan and catalogue mail, verify and upload transcripts, generate and mail certificates, perform data entry/clean‑up, provide support at reception, and other duties as assigned.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (required).
- Exceptional organizational skills, managing multiple priorities and adapting quickly.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and written/ verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in core office programs and organization‑specific software.
- Knowledge of privacy policy, records security, and document management protocols.
This role offers a competitive salary within the range of $62,000 to $69,500, pro‑rated based on contract length. For full‑time contract employees, the benefits program includes:
- 8% additional pay in lieu of benefits.
- 10 vacation days per year (pro‑rated).

- Hybrid work model with a schedule of remote and in‑office days (minimum 2 in‑office days per week).
