An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 6-month secondment as an Administrator within the Corporate Workforce and OD team. The team has a wide and varied portfolio, working at a fast pace and requires an individual with strong administrative and organisational skills.
The postholder must have experience of working in an administrative environment and be proficient in MS Office packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams. They should have a good understanding of general office procedures, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to prioritise and plan their workload and work as part of a team.
The team is based in Cobbett House on the Oxford Road Campus but operates a hybrid working pattern of on-site and remote working. The part-time hours can be worked flexibly across five days (Mon-Fri) within core office hours.
Main duties of the job- Provide a comprehensive administration service to the Corporate Services HR Team, including data entry, sending out standard communications and meeting coordination.
- Act as a point of contact and support members of the team with administrative duties.
- Identify and propose improvements to administrative processes.

Person Specification Knowledge- Understanding of general office procedures.
- Knowledge of NHS job evaluation system.
- Basic knowledge of the role of the Human Resources team.
- Educated to high GCSE level/NVQ level 3, or equivalent experience.
- Experience of working in an administrative environment.
- Computer literacy, experience of MS Office packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise and plan workload.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
£25,760 to £27,476 a year pro rata, per annum.
