Salary: £28,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)

Our client is a well-established and highly regarded Chartered Surveying practice providing a broad range of professional property services across the residential and commercial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to support a busy team of surveyors and office staff.

This is a varied and rewarding role that would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and acting as a key point of contact for both clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a high-volume email inbox and responding to enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Scheduling appointments and coordinating surveyor diaries.
  • Handling client enquiries via email and telephone.
  • Providing administrative support across the business and assisting with wider office functions when required.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing calls while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.
The successful candidate will be:
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and changing priorities.
  • A quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other administrative software.
  • Professional, personable, and an effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
Experience Required

Previous experience within the property sector would be highly advantageous, particularly from a surveying, estate agency, property management, or related environment. However, candidates with strong administrative experience and a genuine interest in the property industry will also be considered.

Additional Information

The role offers flexibility for the right individual, with part-time applicants considered. However, there may be occasions where full-time availability is required to support business needs.
