Personal Assistant

Location:

Leeds (Hybrid/Remote Work Model). Pay: £12.86 per hour. Job type:
Temporary. Sector:
Public Sector.

Hours:

21 per week across 4-5 days, starting 09:00am daily.

About the Role

We are seeking an organized and proactive Operational Support Officer to provide high-quality administrative support to a Grade 6 Head of Team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys managing multiple priorities, and takes pride in delivering efficient and professional support within a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Grade 6 Head of Team
  • Arrange regular and ad-hoc meetings
  • Coordinate virtual and in-person team meetings, including
    • Scheduling meetings
    • Collating agenda items and inputs
    • Drafting agendas
    • Capturing and circulating actions and decisions
    • Following up on outstanding actions
  • Manage the Head of Team's inbox and diary
  • Arrange travel, accommodation, and logistics for meetings, events, and training
  • Process travel amendments, refunds, and re-bookings where required
  • Maintain and update corporate information on a quarterly basis
  • Support recruitment and onboarding activities
  • Raise purchase orders and follow up on invoices
About You
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident managing diaries, meetings, and competing priorities
  • Able to work independently and use initiative effectively
  • A strong communicator with excellent communication skills
  • Experienced in an administrative or business support role

Previous Civil Service experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
