The Government Relations & Administration Officer is a key administrative and compliance role responsible for managing all interactions with Saudi government entities, ministries, and regulatory bodies on behalf of the organization. The GRO ensures the company remains fully compliant with Saudi labor law, immigration regulations, and all applicable government requirements. This role also provides light support to the Legal team for office-related document renewals and assists with general administrative tasks as needed.
WHATYOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Government Portal Administration
- Manage and operate all relevant Saudi government online portals including Absher, Qiwa, Mudad, GOSI, HRSD, and MISA platforms.
- Submit, track, and follow up on applications, transactions, and service requests through official government systems.
- Maintain up‑to‑date access credentials and ensure timely renewal of portal accounts and digital certificates.
- Monitor regulatory announcements and portal updates to ensure organisational compliance.
- Monitor Nitaqat status to ensure the company maintains a safe Saudization tier.
- Coordinate and process different visa types including but not limited to work visas, business visas, dependent entry visas, and exit/re‑entry visas.
- Maintain an accurate, up‑to‑date record of all employee visa statuses.
- Visit government offices physically when required, including the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD), Jawazat (Passport Department), Ministry of Commerce, and Traffic Police.
- Accompany expats for medical checks, fingerprinting, or official procedures during onboarding.
- Provide light‑touch support to the Legal team for the renewal of office‑related documents such as Commercial Registration (CR), Municipal License, Chamber of Commerce membership, and other statutory certificates.
- Assist in the legalisation, attestation, and notarisation of company documents when required.
- Coordinate with relevant government offices for the collection and submission of official documents.
- Execute ad‑hoc administrative tasks and operational assignments as directed by management.
- Coordinate with the IT department to manage the collection, tracking, and seamless delivery of hardware and equipment to new hires.
- Support global People and Culture projects.
- Serve as a point of contact for new joiners on their first day, coordinating equipment handover and initial logistics where applicable.
Proven experience operating platforms such as Absher, Qiwa, Mudad, GOSI, HRSD, and MISA.
Immigration & Visa KnowledgeStrong understanding of Saudi immigration regulations, visa processing, and Iqama management.
Regulatory & Compliance AwarenessFamiliarity with Saudi labour law, Nitaqat (Saudization), and applicable government requirements.
Arabic Language ProficiencyFluent in Arabic (written and spoken);
English proficiency is an advantage.
Meticulous approach to document management, deadline tracking, and data accuracy.
Stakeholder & Relationship ManagementAbility to liaise effectively with government officials, internal teams, and external service providers.
Administrative & Organisational SkillsDemonstrated ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and prioritise workload in a fast‑paced environment.
