This role is for 37.5 hours per week and requires the postholder to work as part of the existing admin team, Monday to Friday. Hybrid with a mix of office and home working.
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Team Administrator to join our CAMHS Single Point of Access Service (SPA). The postholder will be part of the Children’s and Families Care Group based within the CAMHS SPA team delivering care to children, young people and families. The SPA is the first point of clinical contact for CYP, families and referrers and offers consultation and advice prior to referral and during the triage phase.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to deal with sensitive and challenging situations
- ECDL/CLAIT IT qualification or equivalent
- RSA Stage III Word Processing / Text Processing or equivalent
- Good standard of general education including English and Maths at GCSE Grade C or equivalent or Functional Skills (English and Maths) Level 2
- NVQ / Level 3 Business Administration Audio typing
- Previous experience of data input
- Experience of dealing with sensitive/distressing issues
- Relevant experience in administration role including dealing with telephone queries in a timely manner
- Experience using Rio
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office e.g. Word, Excel etc.
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines
- Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of effective team working
- Demonstrate a high level of communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organisational skills and work on own initiative
- Provide training/advice to other team members on processes and computer packages
