The Facilities Intern will support the organization, standardization, and maintenance of departmental operational procedures, SOPs, work instructions, and controlled documentation systems within the Facilities department. The role will also assist with operational coordination activities related to maintenance workflows, document management, and administrative continuity, while gaining practical exposure to process improvement and operational support within a service-based industrial environment.
Responsibilities
Assist with organizing and maintaining departmental operational and maintenance documentationSupport the creation, formatting, review, and revision of SOPs, work instructions, and maintenance proceduresHelp standardize document structures, templates, naming conventions, and storage practicesSupport development of future branch startup/shutdown procedures and operational continuity documentationAssist with document control, revision tracking, and version managementWork with department personnel to gather operational workflow information and process detailsSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance and facilities operationsAssist in identifying documentation gaps and opportunities for process standardizationHelp maintain organized records and operational reference materials within company systemsParticipate in departmental meetings and process reviews as requiredAssist with workflow mapping and operational process documentationSupport departmental operational coordination activities, including document tracking and workflow follow-upsAssist with PO/PR follow-ups, invoice coordination, vendor communication, and procurement support activitiesProvide backup support for departmental administrative workflows during absences or peak operational periodsSupport data tracking, reporting, and operational records managementCompetencies
