Overview
Customer Service Assistant role within Adult Social Care Customer Service Centre for the Tamworth area, part of Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
Responsibilities- Be the first point of contact for services and connect callers to practice teams and associated services.
- Handle all call traffic into the Customer Service Centre for Adult Social Care services, including Mental Health and Older People and Physical Disability/Sensory service provision.
- Provide comprehensive and confidential administrative and business support to meet service needs; communicate information and advice to enable operational excellence via Pathway support.
- Undertake general office duties and support teams as required related to the Assigned Social Care Pathway.
- Input data, perform data cleansing, maintain records, and support social workers as needed.
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm. Hours and working pattern may be negotiated; base and home working options may apply.
Qualifications and experience- Good standard of literacy and numeracy; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- IT skills, including data entry, and working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
- Experience of using computer-based information systems in an office environment; experience of using IT systems including MS Office and MS Teams; accurate keyboard skills.
- Previous experience of working with the public, face-to-face and over the telephone.
- Good general education with English and Maths to GCSE standard or equivalent.
- NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent qualification or relevant experience.
- Willingness to undertake training relevant to the post.
