Position: 252775 Personal Assistant

The Acute and Diagnostic Admin Team at NHS Dumfries & Galloway are seeking to recruit a motivated and highly organised individual to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive administrator to support the Management Team by providing high-level administrative support, ensuring key information is available to inform decision-making and maximise the effective use of management time.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the service.

Responsibilities
  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Management Team
  • Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of information to support decision-making
  • Assisting with the coordination and supporting implementation/progression of initiatives
  • Liaising with a wide range of stakeholders, including Senior Managers, Medical staff and Administrative colleagues
  • Based at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary
Qualifications
  • Has experience working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Can quickly learn and adapt to complex systems and processes
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Is able to prioritise workload and multitask effectively
  • Brings a positive, flexible and proactive ‘can do’ attitude
