My client is a successful and well-established business based just outside Bishop's Stortford and is looking for a reliable and organised Administration Assistant to join their friendly team on a permanent part-time basis.

The role of Administration Assistant:- Reviewing client instruction letters and supporting documentation.
- Accurately opening new matters on the company's case management system.
- Creating and maintaining client and matter records, ensuring all information is recorded correctly.
- Undertaking conflict checks in line with company procedures and escalating any potential issues.
- Updating and maintaining electronic records throughout the life of a matter.
- Scanning, uploading, filing and archiving documents.
- Processing incoming and outgoing post and distributing correspondence.
- Preparing court bundles.
- Undertaking confidential document disposal and shredding in line with data protection requirements.
- Assisting with general office administration duties.
- Monitoring and replenishing office supplies.
- Supporting colleagues with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the business.
- Previous administration experience is essential.
- Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using case management systems would be advantageous, but not essential.
- Ability to interpret information from client instructions and supporting documentation.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally and discreetly.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive and positive approach to work.
- Salary: £16,000 - £18,000 dependent upon experience.
