Location: Greater London

Executive Assistant to CEO - (Part-Time, Remote)

Location:

Primarily Remote (UK-based) with occasional visits to Oxford (approximately once per month, or more if preferred)

Hours:

Part-Time (2–3 days per week)

Salary:

£45,000–£55,000 FTE plus comprehensive benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an innovative, fast-growing biotechnology company at the forefront of groundbreaking cancer research. With operations across the UK and the US, this pioneering organisation is dedicated to advancing the discovery of novel cancer therapies through cutting-edge science, data analytics and collaborative partnerships. Employing around 75 people across its Oxford headquarters and California office, the company combines the pace and ambition of a high-growth business with the stability of an established organisation.

This is a rare chance to work closely with an inspiring CEO whose work has the potential to make a genuine impact on the future of cancer treatment.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing comprehensive executive support to the CEO, including complex diary and inbox management.
  • Coordinating extensive UK and international travel arrangements and itineraries.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for the CEO, managing communications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting and coordinating the Executive Committee, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, distributing papers and following up on actions.
  • Liaising with the CEO's direct reports across the UK, Europe and the US to ensure effective communication and seamless coordination.
  • Organising corporate meetings, leadership events and business development activities, managing all associated logistics.
  • Preparing presentations, reports and meeting documentation to a high standard.
  • Managing confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
  • Providing administrative support that enables the CEO to remain focused on strategic priorities.
You'll ideally have:
  • At least 3 years' experience supporting a CEO, Founder or senior executive in a similar environment!!
  • Previous experience within biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, life sciences or another highly regulated or professional sector would be advantageous, although candidates from other corporate environments will also be considered.
  • Outstanding organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • The ability to prioritise effectively and remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to work independently.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
  • High levels of discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration tools.
