This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administration and coordination skills who enjoys working with people, managing multiple priorities, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage training schedules, bookings and learning calendars
  • Liaise with internal and external training providers, venues and stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate learning and training records and databases
  • Monitor training attendance and completion rates

  • Produce routine reports and administrative information for the LD&E team
  • Coordinate resources, materials and equipment needed for training events
  • Act as first point of contact for learning and development enquiries
  • Support the organisation and administration of learning events, workshops and meetings
  • Ensure all activities align with organisational policies, procedures and budget parameters

You'll work closely with the Head of Learning, Development and Education to keep learning provision well organised, compliant and responsive to the needs of the workforce. Your main base will be one of the Hospice sites, with some home-working and occasional travel to other South West locations as required.

What you'll bring
  • Experience in a busy administrative or coordination role
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience maintaining accurate records and databases
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A collaborative, customer-focused approach
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in a care or similar environment is an advantage, though not essential
What's on offer
  • 33 days' holiday plus bank holidays, rising with service
  • Enhanced sick pay, up to 6 months full pay
  • Pension scheme with 7% employer contribution
  • Enhanced maternity/adoption pay and family-friendly policies
