Brief DescriptionNorthumberland County Council's Statutory Assessment and Review Team seeks a SEND Administrative Assistant to support EHCP Coordinators and Officers. This role demands excellent IT and organisational skills, a commitment to confidentiality, and clear communication with stakeholders. The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines under pressure is essential. Experience of working within a local authority, education, health, or social care environment is desirable.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to EHCP Coordinators and Officers.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information related to individuals.
- Serve as a point of contact for parents, schools, and professionals, communicating clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Assist in coordinating meetings, maintaining calendars, and organising documentation.
- Support the team in delivering high-quality services to children, young people, and families.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve common goals.
- Adhere to policies and procedures governing SEND administrative processes.
