Your new company A successful and growing manufacturing business based in Speke is looking to recruit a Sales Administrator on a 4-month temporary contract to support its busy sales and customer service function.
The company is seeking an organised and proactive person to join their friendly team during a particularly busy period.
Your new role As a Sales Administrator, you will provide essential support to the sales team, customers, and internal departments.
Acting as a key point of contact, you will ensure customer enquiries and orders are managed efficiently while maintaining excellent service levels.
This is a fast-paced role that requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build positive working relationships.
Your duties will include:
Processing customer orders and updating internal systems accurately.
Managing customer enquiries via telephone and email.
Preparing and issuing quotations, sales orders, and related documentation.
Liaising with customers regarding product availability, lead times, and deliveries.
Supporting the sales team with administrative tasks and reporting.
Coordinating with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
Maintaining accurate customer records and pricing information.
Resolving customer queries and escalating issues where necessary.
Assisting with the preparation of sales reports and performance data.
Providing general administrative support to the wider commercial team.
What you'll need to succeed Previous experience in a Sales Administrator, Customer Service Administrator, Account Coordinator, or similar administrative role.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience using CRM, ERP, or order processing systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment.
