Weston Brook Associates are delighted to be partnering with a well-established independent accountancy practice based in Central London that are looking to appoint an experienced and organised Accountancy Practice Administrator to support the day-to-day running of the firm. This is an excellent opportunity for an administrative professional with previous accountancy practice experience to join a friendly and flexible team environment.
The role is offered on a part-time basis, working 3-4 days per week, with the majority of duties capable of being performed remotely. Occasional travel to the firm's Central London office may be required for meetings, training, or business needs.
Reporting directly to the Directors, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting senior management and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice. Acting as a central point of contact for clients, you will support a range of administrative, compliance, bookkeeping, and operational activities.
The Role

  • As an Accountancy Practice Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the Directors and wider team with a broad range of operational and administrative duties. This varied position would suit a proactive individual who enjoys working independently and taking ownership of processes.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Acting as a first point of contact for client enquiries via telephone, email, and correspondence.
  • Managing client onboarding procedures and ensuring all relevant documentation is obtained and maintained.
  • Conducting Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks and supporting the firm's compliance requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate client records and practice management systems.
  • Coordinating engagement letters and monitoring documentation returns.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Monitoring practice inboxes and directing queries to the appropriate team members.
  • Supporting the Directors and senior management team with administrative and operational activities.
  • Assisting with document management, filing, and maintaining electronic records.
  • Liaising with clients professionally and efficiently to resolve routine queries.
  • Supporting fee collection processes and undertaking credit control activities where required.
  • Assisting with basic bookkeeping duties and data processing for clients as necessary.
  • Providing general operational support to help ensure the efficient running of the practice.
  • Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
