The Opportunity
:

Liberty Mutual Canada is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to act as a trusted partner to our Senior Leadership Team (SLT). In this role, you will manage complex calendars and travel, prepare executive communications and presentations, drive key projects and follow-ups, and represent the SLT with discretion and professionalism.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Calendar & meetings: Own SLT calendars, prioritize meeting requests, resolve conflicts, prepare agendas and pre-reads, and manage virtual/in‑person logistics and AV support. Capture action items and drive follow-up.
  • Communications & gatekeeping: Screen and prioritize email and calls, draft and edit executive correspondence and presentations, and liaise with direct reports and cross-functional partners.
  • Projects & operations: Track SLT priorities and project deliverables, coordinate stakeholders to remove blockers, prepare reports and budget materials, and maintain organized records.
  • Travel & events: Plan complex travel itineraries, manage last‑minute changes, process expenses, and coordinate team meetings, off‑sites and executive events.
  • Team support & collaboration: Provide guidance and backup to other administrative staff and serve as a professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Assist with onboarding processes for executives, ensuring smooth transitions.

Skills &

Qualifications:

  • Post‑secondary education (college or university) considered an asset.
  • 7+ years of executive‑level administrative experience supporting senior leaders required.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, tight timelines, and high‑volume scheduling in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong stakeholder judgment.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and PowerPoint; strong Excel skills.
