Project Secretary Point of Ayr, Talacre (CH8 9RD
) Contract until the end of 2028 Competitive PAYE Hourly Rate (Applicants invited to state their required rate) NRL are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Project Secretary to support a major energy project based at Point of Ayr, Talacre. This is a long-term contract opportunity offering stability through to the end of 2028, working within a busy project environment.

This is a fully site-based position and would suit a highly organised administrator or project support professional with previous experience supporting large-scale engineering, construction or energy sector projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing incoming telephone calls and visitors
  • Drafting correspondence, letters and emails
  • Maintaining organised project filing systems, both electronic and paper-based
  • Supporting the preparation of reports, presentations and project documentation
  • Attending meetings when required, taking minutes and producing reports
  • Coordinating international travel and complex itineraries
  • Processing travel expenses
  • Checking passport and visa requirements and arranging necessary documentation
  • Ordering office supplies and supporting day-to-day office administration
  • Providing comprehensive secretarial and organisational support to the project team
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience as a Project Secretary, Project Administrator, Executive Assistant or Project Support Coordinator
  • Ideally 2-5 years' experience within an international project environment
  • Experience supporting engineering, construction, energy or industrial projects would be advantageous
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced project environment
  • Experience coordinating travel and managing confidential information
Working Pattern

Monday to Friday Saturday mornings when required. Fully site-based role (no hybrid or home working available).
