Island Photography is a special event photography company specializing in graduation, school portrait, school sports, and race photography. We photograph hundreds of schools, teams, and organizations throughout the Tri-State area.

Behind every photograph is important information --- and that's where you come in!

Our Data Entry team helps make sure the people in our photographs can be accurately identified and connected with their information.

The majority of our work involves sports photography
. At events, athletes fill out cards with their names and contact information. Once those cards are back in our office, our remote Data Entry team enters that information into our online system so our Production team can accurately identify the athletes in their photographs.

• Accurately typing names, addresses, phone numbers, and other information from handwritten cards
• Entering information into our proprietary online database
• Carefully reviewing your work for accuracy
• Using basic online research to fill in missing information when needed
• Following simple instructions and established data-entry procedures
• Completing available work within the expected timeframe

You don’t need years of data-entry experience --
- we can teach you our system. What matters most is that you’re someone who is:

• A strong and accurate typist
• Comfortable reading handwritten information
• Detail-oriented and careful with your work
• Reliable and consistent
• Comfortable working independently
• Able to stay focused while doing repetitive work
• Comfortable using a computer and navigating basic websites
• Willing to ask questions when you’re unsure rather than guessing

This position is 100% remote
, so you can work from home or wherever you have a reliable internet connection.

Because our workload changes throughout the year based on our photography schedule, the amount of work available will fluctuate. We provide work based on the number of cards currently available in our system.

When you commit to working, we need you to log in, be available, and complete the work during that time.

This position is best suited for someone who is self-motivated and can consistently follow through without needing someone to check in on them throughout the day.

This is a per-card position
, meaning you are paid based on the number of cards you successfully key.

There is no cap on the number of cards you can complete when work is available. The more cards you accurately complete, the more you can earn.

While speed is helpful,
accuracy is our priority. We would much rather have carefully entered information than rushed work that needs to be corrected later.
