Interdent is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Operator to join our dedicated team in El Segundo. In this remote role, you will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining a variety of information within our health care databases and systems. You will collaborate closely with administrative and clinical staff to ensure all records are complete and compliant with industry regulations. This position is perfect for a meticulous individual looking to contribute to a purpose-driven organization from the comfort of their own home office.
We offer a competitive salary range of $49,000 - $56,000 per year, along with a supportive remote work environment and opportunities for professional growth within the health care sector.
Responsibilities- Enter and update patient and administrative data into computer systems and databases with high accuracy.
- Review and verify the completeness and accuracy of data before entry.
- Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) and other digital filing systems.
- Perform regular data backups to ensure information is secure and retrievable.
- Identify and correct data entry errors and report any recurring issues to supervisors.
- Manage and organize physical and digital documents for efficient record-keeping.
- Respond to inquiries regarding data and records from authorized personnel.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and data security policies, including HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet data processing deadlines and goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in a similar administrative role.
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry software.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
