Temporary until the end of January 2027, with a possible extension
Working arrangements:  Mostly home working, with occasional attendance at your nearest office.

Pertemps is recruiting a Payroll Administration Assistant on behalf of a public sector organisation dedicated to protecting and improving Wales’ natural environment. Joining a busy payroll team, you will provide administrative support, maintain accurate employee records and assist with day-to-day queries. Payroll experience would be beneficial, although strong administrators with transferable skills will also be considered.

Key responsibilities:

Preparing employment-related correspondence using templates.

Monitoring shared inboxes and responding to or directing payroll queries.

Updating employee information and maintaining accurate system records.

Supporting managers with system updates and information requests.

Providing general administrative support to the payroll team.

About you:

Previous payroll support experience or a strong administration background.

Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

Confidence using IT systems and learning new processes.

Clear written and verbal communication skills.

A professional approach to handling confidential information.

Ability to manage your workload while working from home.
